Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had my menses on September 24 and on October 11 there was bleeding. There were no clots but quite a heavy flow for about a day, though not as heavy as the second day of my normal period. I am expecting my period on October 18 since I am regularly on 24 days. Could this be implantation bleeding. Again it stopped as there was spotting, stopped again and there was spotting. But had now stopped
I have gone through your query, i will try to give you suggestion which will be helpful to you.
Irregular bleeding could be because of hormonal changes. Implantation bleeding most often is scanty not heavy. Still if you want to rule out pregnancy get urine pregnancy test done after a week of missed periods or get serum bhcg levels which are more accurate in diagnosing early pregnancy.
This provisional advice provided by me is based entirely on the input provided to me. I would suggest examination by the doctor.
I hope this suggestion might be of some help to you. I will be glad to help you in case if you have any further queries.
Wish you speedy recovery. Take care.
