Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain popping sensation in the ears with a recent history of
sinus infection infection seems to be due to
Eustachian tube dysfunction and fluid behind the eardrum..
This is commonly seen following a cold or sinus infection leading to
post nasal drip as the eustachian tube is connected to throat..
I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like x ray, MRI, otoscopy etc can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
You can be advised a course of antibiotics, oral as well as nasal decongestants like
Xylometazoline nasal sprays.
Along with it steam inhalation and chewing chewing gum can help..
In case of no improvement in 15 days surgical
drainage by making a small incision through the eardrum can help..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
