What Causes Irritation Around The Incision Site Post Vasectomy?

I have had a vasectomy recently, about 8 days ago and I have ddeveloped a skin irritation around my iincision, it itches pretty bad and is causing the skin on my scrotum to be red and swollen ice helps reduce itch is this something I need to be concerned about. Please help

Well come to HCM
Such irritation could be due to growing of granulation tissue and it is better called healing process and this is nothing to worry, still keep this under observation for any changes that could be indicative of infections, else this is nothing to worry, take care.
