What Causes Irritation In The Genital Area?

Not exactly sure how to explain the problem....I have an irritation in my genital area. I don t know what the problem is. Almost feels like when I ve had a urinary track infection. I can t even describe the feeling. I have tried taking azo which has helped in the past but this time it s not. I have some days where I feel totally fine and other days where all day long I feel the irritation and some days where it happens for a short time then goes away. What could this be?

Hi,

Urinary infection can be the cause and sometimes candida infection as well. I would recommend you to take plenty for fluids, at least 3 L of water a day to wash off your urinary tract and also you can try a local antifungal cream like miconazole.

If you notice no improvement with these in 3-4 days or you notice any worsening, you will need to talk to your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
