What Causes Itchiness And Bumps Around The Eyes?

3days ago while garden scaling, I felt allergy symptoms coming on. My eyes became very itchy. It seemed to been inhaled scent. Now I have lumps/bumps on the outsides of both eyes. First day I applied warm compresses - made swelling worse- second day took Benedrill. Minimal improvement. Do I need to see a doctor?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

You can consider using the benadryl over a 24 hour period consistently.

Bendryl can be used one to two tablets every 4 to 6 hours.

If there is no improvement then you can see your doctor for assessment. He or she may give you a prescription for a short course of steroids.
If there is significant worsening of symptoms during this 24 hour period then you should be assessed earlier.

I hope this helps
