General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The root cause of itchiness and dry skin all over the body may be related to underlying some sort of:
Endocrinopathy as thyroid disorder
Diabetes
Allergic or atopic conditions
immune related disorders as hyper IgE syndrome or others

It requires a detailed work up with an immune specialist and series of lab tests to find out the root cause and manage accordingly.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
