What Causes Itchiness And Irritation In The Penis Skin?

Dear Doctor,Three days ago i had a protected sex, but after one hour i started feeling itching and irritation inside my penis and some lesion on my penis skin.Is this STD, could it be as a result of the condom(i was given by a friend-the one with a condom a separate lube)- i have never used it.If i have uprotected sex with my partner will i infect her with this irritation/itching.thanks

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
What problem you are experiencing appears to be an allergic reaction due to use of lubricated condom. It is not STD and you would not infect anyone with this and hence do not worry.
Kindly do the following to overcome the symptoms.
1. Wash the area with cold water thoroughly along with mild antiseptic solution like Savlon.
2. After drying, apply Hydrocortisone cream on the lesions.
3. Take Tablet. Levocetrizine once a day to overcome itching.
Kindly abstain from sexual activities till the lesions heal completely. Be careful next time when you use such type of condoms.
