What Causes Itchiness In The Hand And Chest After Taking Amlodipine?

I ve been taking amlodipine for only 1 week. I have extreme peripheral oedema (bilateral from knees down and also hands), itchy hands and upper chest. I cry for no reason and whilst I don t feel sad as such, I am thoroughly miserable. I have normal bloods apart from very slightly raised GGT. Do you have any advice and/or alternatives for treating/investigating my eratic rather than high BP? Thank you so much.

if after intake of amlodipine.. if redness in arms, chest and other parts of body, itching, dizziness, palpitations, heartburn, difficult in breathing, odemema, tightening of chest occurs.. then immediately seek to doctor.. if redness and itching increased and persists then Dont take it lightly.. and consult your doctor
