What Causes Itchiness In The Rectum And Tissue Growth On The Perineum?

I have had a colonoscopy and was told that I do not have hemorrhoids, however I have 2 protruding growths. My perineum has lost pigmentation and is cracking. YYYY@YYYY I have itching of the rectum. I am trying to find out what type of DR I need to see to have the problem looked at. I thought that it was a proctologist but I have been told that that the specialty name has changed.

Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. Thank you for your query. I am Dr. Rommstein, I understand your concerns and I will try to help you as much as I can

As I know, there was no name change and this is something for proctologist or dermatovenerologist depednign on state where you are. This may be anal condyloma, hemorrhoids or poylps and you should see doctor to confirm diagnosis and then it can be treated by local excision.
I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us in every time.
Kindly regards. Wish you a good health.
