General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Very likely you are having conjunctivitis which is causing you to have itchy, sore eyes with puss discharge. Please do not use the contact lens while you have this infection.
You will need antibiotic ointment or eye drops to help ease the infection in the eye. A visit with the doctor is needed to evaluate your eyes and access a prescription.

I hope I have answered your query. I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj,
