What Causes Itching After Impacted Wisdom Tooth Extraction?

Hi Doctor.. I had an impacted wisdom tooth extracted today and I was prescribed Percocet.. I ve never taken this medication before and after two doses I am itching from head to toe. I did some on-line research that is can be a side effect. My question is, is it safe for me to take Loratadine along with the Percocet? I couldn t find a clear answer on-line, and it s too late in the evening to call my doctor.

Hello there,
Percocet and lorantidine do not have a major interaction. You can take them together. But Be careful and do not drive, operate heavy machinery or do any work that requires long periods of concentration while you are on them.

Hope this helps,
