I had my gallbladder removed, then 2 months later had an ERCP to remove stones and sludge that caused a bile duct obstruction. 1 week later, I was having the same symptoms: cholestasis (itchy all over body) and grey colored stool, also slightly less energy and appetite. I just had a 2nd ERCP today because my GI Dr. thought I had another bile duct obstruction. He did not find anything that could be causing an obstruction. What are the chances I passed the sludge or blockage on my own and what are the chances that there is another underlying problem going on here??? My liver enzymes are elevated in the 300 range, but have come down significantly from 950 since July. This itchiness is a definite symptom of a problem and it is agitating!!!!
