General & Family Physician 's  Response
You have not described whether there is any rash or if she is using any medication chronically. Scabies is a suspected if any of your family members is suffering from the same problems. In other skin diseases like psoriasis, dermatitis there is red skin or blisters. You may experience itchy skin if you have a negative reaction to antibiotics or pain medications.
Again itching over your entire body could indicate a serious health condition, such as liver disease, kidney failure, leukemia, lymphoma or cancer. Is there any associated weight loss or decreased appetite? You are adviced to do a blood sugar estimation, liver and renal function tests.
