What Causes Itching Along The Feet, Ankles And Toes?

Hello, I ve been experiencing itchy feet for the last couple-few months. I ve put off seeing the doc due to embarrassment. It s mostly itchy at night, too of my feet, by the toes and ankles. No rash. Both feet. Also I have noticed 1 small dark dot on the bottom of both feet that weren t there before. Not sure if that has anything to do with my itchy feet or not.

Hello
Thanks for the query.
Such symptoms are suggestive of peripheral neuropathy.
It is usually associated with diabetes.
Please get your blood sugar levels checked.
To control the itch you can apply a mild steroid cream like cortisone twice daily for a week.
Also take an antihistamine tablet like cetrizine.
