What Causes Itching Along With White Vaginal Discharge While On Antibiotics?

I had a pretty bad yeast infection after taking antibiotics a few weeks ago. I noticed a lot of redness, itching, white discharge, and swelling around my vagina - which are all normal symptoms of a vaginal yeast infection- however I also noticed an excess of soft tissue around my anus. When I looked it up online - all that came up in the search was HPV. I saw my gynecologist and she said it just looked like tissue after hemmroids were out....I had been coughing for weeks with bronchitis so it s possible but I didn t really notice hemroids or have any pain around my Anus. If my gynocolgist did a Pap smear, will it come back negative if it is HPV and does this sound like warts to you? It doesn t look like warts- it just looks like excess soft pink tissue all the way around my anus. It makes it difficult to keep clean after bowel movements and is really bothering me. Should I try a cream or go back to the gyno?

I share your concerns. In my opinion it is skin tag due to haemorrhoids. Skin tag is a common finding in case of haemorrhoids. It is of skin colour, may cause some pain due to secondary infections.

HPV wart is also a possibility, as it is also a common occurrence. But it is not of skin colour, it is dark coloured due to pigments.

In my opinion you should visit a surgeon who treats haemorrhoids patients for better assessment and management of your illness.
