What Causes Itching And Black Spots In The Place Of Graft?
I had tympanoplasty&mastoidectomy on 16 july 2011.After 3 weeks ent specialist showed me the graft in place
&was o.k.Now since three days ihave some sort of itching. I went to ent specialist He showed me the surrounding
place of the graft is infected with fungus.There is black spots. H e told me to come in the evening for cleaning.
iam very much worried .please tell me whether i have to go for another operation.

hello, thanks for your query, myringiplasty on 2011, it's just a fugal infection , it will come down with anti fungal drops , need not to be worried. just take care of ur ear by not putting water and not to get cold episodes. all the best. take care.
