What Causes Itching And Brown Discharge From The Vagina?
Hi. I recently had a miscarriage. Before the miscarriage, I had brown itchy discharge. I have completed my medications (Flagyl, Lonat, Ciprofloxacin, Analgesics) just few days ago but I m having this very itchy discharge that is odourless and creamy white like cottage cheese and my navel has this itchy sensation internally whenever my vagina itches. I m getting Canesten (thrush) cos this itch is discomforting. I just washed my V now and rubbed some Coconut oil on it and it has calmed it down. What could possibly be the problem?
Hello Dear. There may be some infection either bacterial or fungal vaginitis. You can take broad spectrum antibiotics and apply antifungal crea. Take tablet flagyl three times a day for 5 days and tablet fluconazole once a week for 3 weeks. Apply candid ointment in the area. You should be fine. If not consult a gynecologist who may do culture of the discharge and see which antibiotic works good for you.
