What Causes Itching And Burning Sensation Below The Vagina?

My vaginal opening and the area between my anus & vagina is really itchy. I ve felt a few small bumps down there that sting when you touch them or especially when urine touches them. I haven t noticed any unusual odor from my vagina and the discharge seems normal. I recently came off of some antibiotics so I was thinking it could be a yeast infection but I m not completely sure. I am sexually active and we do not use condoms, but I have had the same partner for 3 years and neither of us have had a history of any sexually transmitted diseases. I did notice that a few days ago when we had sex, the inside of my vagina stung a little bit. Could this be a yeast infection?

Your symptoms are mostly suggestive of vaginal fungal infection. For which you can take some antibiotic preferably cefadroxyl or doxycycline after an expert opinion along with cetrizine or avil for itching and burning. You can take fluconazole 150 mg or use clingen-forte vaginal pessary to put into your vagina once daily for at-least 5 days. Maintain the hygiene of private part either by regular washing with soap water or you can use v-wash vaginal gel.
