What Causes Itching And Burning Sensation In The Feet After Eating Seafod?
hi, every few months (possibly 3-6) I get this incredible deep itching in a foot (it can be either one) and it lasts about 2-3 days and spreads across my foot. If it starts on the Leftside it will end on the right side. I usually have to put on tight socks and sometimes sleep in shoes to control the itching / burning. It comes and goes and when its on i want to scratch so hard and make it bleed or it drives me so crazy. Any ideas.? Am wondering if a food allergy can actually affect your feet. This week I ate seafood 3 times and have possibly remember this itching from another time that I ate seafood. Any ideas?
It could be an allergic reaction. As a first line management you can take antihistamine like cetirizine for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persist better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
