General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It is possible since the rash is itching, burning and there is associated pain that it is chickenpox or shingles or another herpetic rash (chicken pox virus is a type herpes rash).

This can be confirmed by a visit to your doctor.

Antiviral medications would help if this is confirmed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
