What Causes Itching And Crawling Sensation On Skin?
Hi. I have a history of asthma, as well as allergies. I found myself experincing an higher amount of stress and anxiety than usual. Approximately four days had passed before I was able to remove myself from this situation. After being home for two more days I brought fish while out. After eating to pieces of fish I began itching. My doctor prescribed Methylprednisolone 4mg x6days My skin is still itching and crawling. Finished Medication three days ago.
1. Since Asthma is a psychosomatic disorder thus what you are experiencing is hypersensitive reaction to fish which had caused your nervous system to release histamine whuch is causing itxjing in your body.
2. Continue with the treatment what your doctor has advised and avoid the particular (fish) food completely.
3. Apary from it avoid all allergens (dust, pets, industrial fumes, passive smoking, emotional or family problem.
4. With the said medicine (methylprednisolone, i.e. short course of steroid), use a tranquiliser
5. Acute exacerbations are usually due to infection and/or related to change in weather, so check with a chest specialist ro rule out the same.
