What Causes Itching And Dark Spots On The Buttocks And Legs?
I have itchiness of my skin at the nape part and face of my butt. First, there were small little dots but now since it s drying up, I have dark spots on those areas and I think it s now moving on different parts of my leg. What is happening? What should I do?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have itching and dark spots on the buttocks and legs which occurs when there is bacterial infection of hair follicles and when clogged pores of sebaceous gland filled with sebum ,dead skin and bacteria get infected. Need not to worry. I would suggest you not to scratch pimples as they will get infected , leave acne marks. You should maintain environment dry and clean. I would suggest you to consult dermatologist once and get it examined. you an go for antibiotics ( clindamycin ) , corticosteroid ointment , hydroquinone , laser therapy for scars only after doctors prescription. Till now apply aloe vera gel and apply azelaic acid containing cream twice a day as this is safe and natural extract of cereals.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
