What Causes Itching And Inflammation On Face After Applying Metacortil Lite Cream?

Hello sir, I am using metacortil lite cream to remove a marks and look bright my face. but I am getting an itch and skin is becoming red in some places. and upper layer is comming out. and I am putting creams on my whole face, not only on marks. can you please suggest me is this side effect of this creem ?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..

As per your complain Metacortil lite cream is a combination of steroid Mometasone Furoate, Hydroquinone and Tretinoin..
Although it is an efficient combination to remove pigmentation and marks from face but has considerable side effects and itching and red marks seems to be the side effect of the cream and you need to immediately stop using the cream..
You should take anti allergics like Levocetrizine or Allegra..
Do cool compresses over the face..
You should wash your face frequently with cold water..
Apply aloevera gel for lubrication as well as it has anti-inflammatory, antiacterial and antifungal properties..
As you will stop using the cream initially you might feel that the pigmentation is darkening but gradually it will start improving..
Once the condition start improving you can start applying Kojic acid and glycolic acid containing creams to reduce pigmentation..
You can also apply Vitamin E gel..
Limit sun exposure and apply sunscreen lotion when exposed to sun..
