What Causes Itching And Pain In The Vagina?

Hello, My clit and inner labia were itching me like crazy and I kept scratching. But, a week ago I found a cut under my clit at the beginning of my left labia and it is not bleeding. It s painful though. Will it heal by itself? I am worried and I don t know what to do :/ it s been a week now or more.

Hello! I ve read carefully you symptomes.
The area of the vagina, vulva is a very sensitive zone, and the itching and the pain can cause a severe discomfort. The causes of your symptomes may vary from yeast infection, to bacterial vaginosis, STD ( sexually transmited desease ) which may be complicated, and even chemicals that are presents in different types of soaps, or detergents, can cause the symptomes that you are experiencing.
Most cases of vaginal itching will heal on their own, in other cases if this symptomes persists longer than 7-10 days, with no sign of any improvemnets, it is better to check with your OB GYN Doctor, whom may do a Pelvic axamination. Also you need to do some lab tests including blood and vaginal secretion/discharge test.
After the results, the doctor will prescribe a course of treatment depending on the lab results.
