What Causes Itching And Pain On The Face While Falling Asleep?

My face itches while falling asleep.- it often keeps me up until 3 am. The itches are instant and almost painful. After several nights in a row with little sleep, life is really difficult. What causes this and do you know any solutions? This began after moving to south Florida from TN 9 months ago.

As per your complain the symptoms of itching and pain on face seems to be most probably due to allergic reaction and as it occurs on bed there are possibilities like:
1.Either you are eating any specific food at night time that is causing allergic reaction, while can also be due to any medication that you are taking at night..
2.It can also be due to any night cream that is causing allergy.
3.While another cause can mites on your bed..

Consult an Allergist and get evaluated..
You can be advised allergic tests like RAST TEST, Patch test, Prick test, Food Challenge test to confirm the diagnosis and will be treated accordingly...
Eliminating the cause will prevent the symptoms..
As of now take anti allergics like Levocetrizine to relieve the symptoms..
