What Causes Itching And Sunburn Type Feeling On Front Torso?

For seven months, I have been getting a sunburn type feeling on my front torso, but no rash, almost itchy. Sometimes it spreads up to my lips and to my top part of thigh. It has come and gone in these past months.
I am thinking it feels like nerve endings gone awry.
Any thoughts?
