What Causes Itching And Swelling In The Clitoris?

From past 3 days I am experiencing this thing! MY clits are itching like hell and it s a bit swollen now because I rubbed it to get a relief from this itching. I applied olive oil to reduce friction and to give some moisture but still it didn t work much.. the skin is often dry now in that area. Please help me .. it s very irritating

Explanation: Itching soreness in genital area suggest fungal infection as a common issue. Candida is a suspect. Dryness in vagina makes you susceptible to infections, sexually transmitted disease is another differential. If someone comes to me with this condition I would take a swab of vaginal area and do a culture to be sure of organism and treat accordingly

Conclusion: I suggest you to check your ob/gyn doctor meanwhile, moisturizing these area would help.
