What Causes Itching And Swollen Lymph Node In The Groin Area?
i am a 63 year old female. Three years ago I went to the doctor for a swollen lymph node in my groin and severe itching. Since then I ve been diagnosed with R/A and have been back to the doctors many times with the following symptoms: stomach bloating, fatigue, dry cough, trouble breathing, anemia and today I notice that I have a lump on my shoulder blade. I think I have all the symptoms of Lymphoma. Is this realistic?
It is understandable to be concerned regarding the possibility of a lymphoma but these symptoms can occur in other conditions as well.
Lymphoma would also be associated with a significant change in the white blood cell count as well. If you do have a significant change in this parameter then you should be assessed as soon as possible.
Anaemia- there are a number of different types and causes, it can be due to iron deficiency, low vitamin b12 and folate, thyroid disease, liver or kidney disease, bleeding, a side effect of medication etc.
