What Causes Itching Around The Upper Abdomen?

Dr.,i have an itchiness around my abdomen area just below the chest(on the skin) but there is no any rash nor any pox but there is redness around the itching area(only abdomen).i took avil tablet bt it seems like there is no effect,itchiness continue.what could be the causes and could you please help me out?

Welcome to health care magic.

The redness and itchiness may be allergic reaction to some probable insect bite over the area.

First wash the area thorough with mild siap and water to remove any persistent sting or irritant over the area.
You may use antihistaminic like cetrizine tab once a day for 3 days.
Apply ice packs and hydrocortisone ointment locally for 3 days.
If it persists for more than 3 days,visit physician for oral steroids if necessary.
