What Causes Itching Around The Vaginal Opening While On Trimethoprim?

I just started taking trimethoprim for chronic bladder infections.... this is 3rd night. I have been itching really bad around my vaginal opening.... and bladder opening. I have been a allergic to sulfur in the pst and it has done the same thing.... does this drug have any sulfur properties in it?

since you are allergic to sulpha then stop taking trimethoprim. gofor culture and sensitivity test and select a drug other then sulpha. drink more water and take alcasol two times daily. consult urologist for examination and advise on treatment
