Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have this itching feeling right in the head of the penis and have been noticing the tip is wet with urine. During urination I can t even stop and release the flow of urine. I have noticed that the veiny area by the left genial area sometimes has a stabbing aching pain.
I'd like to know some more information about you, are you having sexual relations lately? Have your girlfriend the same symptoms like you?
Itching on the tip of the penis may be due to a genital tract infection or by a yeast infection.
I would recommend you to go for an urine test to rule out urinary infection as you have difficulty with stopping the urine flow.
If the urine test results positive you have to take antibiotics. If negative you have to use oral medications or topical creams to treat probable yeast infection.
Take care and all the best for you! Dr Eriol.
