What Causes Itching In Groin Area And Urge To Urinate After Urination?

My 8 year old is always scratching her private area has done it for a couple years now, she says she feels like she has to pee after she s gone to the bathroom already. My daughter took her to a doctor they said test showed no urine infection, did not want to put her through an exam cause of age. We ve asked her if anyone has hurt her before she said no. The doctor said for her to use a wash cloth after she cleans herself. But she is still having problems. I dont want to put her through something like an exam as well but im worried. Why would she keep itching down there??? Can she use the itch creams that are sold over the counter??? Please help

Ask her to take shower with Oatmeal milk and honey body wash. Give her Cranberry Extract Sachet or tablet 5 times a day.

It looks like urinary incontinence. It usually is due to infection of the urinary tract.

Yes you may take one itch cream with hydrocortisone/Clotrimazole OTC available, for her.

If all of the above treatment doesn't work god for her, do complete Urine examination of her and Complete blood count with differentials from a laboratory, and send these reports to me directly from my profile.
