What Causes Itching In The 7th Month Of Pregnancy?
Hello I have 7 months of pregnancy and it is about to complete. Last 2 weeks i am felling worse itching in whole body. I have examined for Liver function test and S.bilurbin, bile salt and bile pigment is also normal. Only Alkaline is getting higher (about 375 unit). What i should do to relief from this worse itching. Thanks Rakhi

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion itching is seen routinely in pregnancy.As all the investigations are normal you need not worry.Take antiallergics like cetrizine tablets.Apply moisturizer all over the body.The condition subsides spontaneously on its own either before or after delivery.The alkaline phosphatase is usually elevated in all pregnant patients.
