What Causes Itching In The Clitoris?

Why is my prepuce of clitoris so itchy? I ve had the itch for months now and it comes and goes. When it comes I can t help but itch it and after a while it gets a little sore. When I check it, there s red dots everywhere right on my pubes. I m thinking that happens because I scratch it because on a day to day basis there is no signs of blisters, bumps, or anything like that. My blood test results came back ok so I don t think it s herpes. I ve looked at blogs about this and it seems somewhat common but no one has answers. I plan to get it looked at when I see my doctor but I would like to have an idea before I go in. Basically, it s in ONE area only, and that s the in my prepuce. The outer part of the skin above my clitoris. I have pubes there and that s where it itches the most and it s very uncomfortable. I need to get this taken care of immediately before I lose my mind.

This looks like a normal thing, more related to hygiene. Prepuce is made to be retracted and the underlying area cleaned. As you have already developed the infection, does it smell? If yes, we advise using Candid O/M three times a day for 15 days and that will resolve it.

Also clean it properly to avoid recurrence. And do discuss it with your gynec for her to do a local examination.
