General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I would like to tell you that it seems you have developed fungal infection in your groin area. It can be diagnosed by local examination by a skin specialist.

If the diagnosis is confirmed he may prescribe you a local antifungal cream like Miconazole for local application.

You need to keep the area dry as humidity increases the infection. Avoid scratching the area as it will flare up the inflammation. Wear loose cotton undergarments.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nazma Amman
