What Causes Itching In The Throat And Ears?

Feel cut/scratchy throat also feel itching in throat and ear. I realized that nasal waste/mucus not come out through nose and goes directly down to throat and sometimes feel nasal waste stored in throat. Please suggest symptoms or treatment...one more thing is I am regular smoker..

there may be pharyngitis or tonsilitis get it examined by ent specialist. start warm saline gargling. can take throat swab for culture and sensitivity.stop smoking.it will help in recovery.
