What Causes Itching In The Throat And Pain In The Jaw?
I went to see an ENT about a month ago, as i had a strange feeling of lump/ scratchy throat, - my jaw bones were a little achy also. He immediately said my Thyroid was swollen, prescribed a steriod, and recommended I go see an Endocrinologist. Took the steriod for a week, went to the Edno, sonogram and blood test. Endo states I have a very small - under 1cm nodule on my Thyroid, but everything else is normal. The lump in my throat causes pain and hoarseness to voice. My cheek bones are jaw are still achey, Endo recomends I see a Gastro doc? I don t think I have acid reflux as she suggested. HELP!

You may need biopsy of the nodule.Also if this swelling or nodule is causing you difficulty in day to day activities you may need to remove it by surgery.also look for weight loss and rapidly increasing size of nodule and pain.
