What Causes Itching In Vagina Post Intercourse?

Hi i had unprotected sex with my partner i was no involve with in a 3 months but we are currently back together now. I noticed a severe case of itching woke me up so i thought it was just a minor itch however, it continued right through the entire day till i was angry and frustrated... Can u help by letting me know what is wrong with me?

It is mostly suggestive of vaginal fungal infection for which you can take some antibiotic preferably cefadroxyl or doxycycline after an expert opinion along with cetrizine or avil for itching. You can take Fole 150 mg or use clingen-forte vaginal pessary to put into the vagina once daily for at-least 5 days. Maintain the hygiene of private part.
