Hi, The lesions you decribe probably may be of seborrheic dermatitis. There may be seborrhoea or whitish flakes or thin scales on side of nose along with dilated pores on the nose. There may be itching or stinging sensation. And may be exacerbated by stress,anxiety,sun exposure..etc . In my patients having such problem, I usually advise to apply mild steroid with antibacterial cream like eumosone G or fusibet cream. And I also recommend steroid tab in tappering dose for few days only. To relieve itching I precribe antihistaminics like levocetirizine.
