Hello,

I can understand your concern. It seems that you are suffering from an allergic reaction. Sometimes people develop allergies to substances that they have always used. In addition, it is also possible that you may have insect bite that you are not aware about.

I would advise you to start with antihistamine such as Loratidine 10 mg (Lorfast) once a day for 5-7 days. If it will be an allergic reaction, it will subside with this medicine.

If you get this type of reaction every now and then, then you should go for blood test for allergy. It evaluates what substances you are allergic to so that you can avoid exposure to it in future.

If the reaction does not decrease or subside after 2 days, then you should consult a dermatologist for steroidal treatment for the allergies.

I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. I wish you feel better soon.

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
