Hello, Loratidine is an antihistamine H1 receptor blocker. It is used to control allergic symptoms including itching, watering from nose & eyes, skin rashes etc. But if a person is allergic to that compound then there is a possibility of developing a number of reactions including itching. However, it is very unsual. i suggest that the drug should be stopped and then watch for next 2 to 3 days, if the itching subsides, then probably the cause is loratidine. Thanks
