What Causes Itching On The Scalp And Hair Loss?
My mother-in- law says that she feels bug/lice in her hair but she is completely clear and now she is losing her hair. I m concern because my mom would complain of the same thing & she passed of renal failure. My mother-in-law just start taking her BP medication after a couple of years not doing so.

There are many reasons of hair loss but as you said it is associated with itching.
It seems to me it must be because of fungal infection.
She needs to wash her hair regularly and dry it immediately after shower.
She can also use anti-fungal shampoos like ketokenezole ( Naziral).
She must also take Biotin supplements and foods rich with vitamin B complex.
To increase blood flow to scalp she may slow apply minoxidil gel.
You must also visit a nephrologist for kidney evaluation.
