What Causes Itching Sensation And Pus Discharge On Skin?

I am experiencing eczema like symptoms on my arms, stomach and legs areas. It s very itchy and because I scratch so much my skin is now leaking like a pus like substance. I don t have health insurance so everytime I go to the ER they prescribe predsidone which clears it up but in a few days the urge to itch comes back. My arms, and legs are dark and sometimes feel warm. Ive been diagnosed with eczema but I think it might be something more serious.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It does sound like eczema.

You may want to consider allergy testing to determine what you are allergic to and what is causing your reaction.

It is very important to keep the skin moisturized, this reduces drying and the itching.
Within 3 minutes of bathing, before all of the water has dried, a moisturizer should be applied to the skin.

The skin should be repeatedly moisturized throughout the day.

A steroid cream should also be applied to the affected areas for 1 to 2 weeks till the acute flare up resolves.

I hope this helps
