What Causes Itching Sensation And Redness At Back Of Shin?

Hi! I was recently up in the mountains this weekend and I returned two days ago. Yesterday, the back of my shin was very itchy and when I went to look at it, there was a large red area that was about 3 inches in diameter and swollen. I woke up this morning and it seems to have gotten bigger, about 4 inches in diameter and is very hot and itchy and slightly bumpy. I m guessing it s a bite but I don t see any bite marks.

For itching sensation and redness at the back of shin you can take some antibiotic preferably cefadroxyl or doxycycline after an expert opinion along with cetrizine or avil for itching and redness. You can use betnovate-c cream or candid-b powder for local application. Take some pain killer like combiflam or ibugesic-plus for swelling and inflammation.
