What Causes Itching Sensation And Redness On Face After Having Acidophilus?

I took a acidophilus with my antibiotic meds as per my doctor and I now have a very itchy head and my face is all red and hot and partly swollen . is this a reaction to the acidophilus ? I have taken the antibiotic before and never had any reaction.

Hi,It may be allergic reaction to any of the drugs you have been taking .My suggestion would be stop taking medicine and get checked by your physician promptly,as you may change your antibiotic group or antiacids after discussing with your doctor.
