Hello,
You are suffering from swollen foot. Swollen foot occurs mainly due to water retention, lymphedema,
chronic venous insufficiency, infections, side effect of medications, etc. Your symptoms may be indicative of developing kidney problem, cardiac problem, blot clot, etc. You are suggested to restrict salt intake in your diet, stay active and avoid sedentary lifestyle for proper circulation of the
lymphatic system. Maintain healthy weight, focus on stretch exercises, wear compression stocking.
Keep your feet lifted as you rest so that they’re above your heart, especially at night. Give rest to your foot as much as possible. Itching sensation in the foot may be due to infection or allergy. You can take antihistamine for relieve. Apply ointment
Hydrocortisone on the affected area to reduce itching. Control your blood sugar level at all cost to hasten healing. Get clinically examined by a GP /
dermatologist, if it is due to
fungal infection, you can take a course of antifungal (Fluconazole). Take care of your hygiene.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
