What Causes Itching Sensation Around Chest While Treating Addison S Disease?
Hi, My husband is an addison s patient. It s been a while ago he is experiencing itching on his chest sometimes and at the same time his cought doesn t want to go away since last two months. Can you please answer me what should we do? Thanks. Roma Ali.

Noted the history about your husband suffering from Addition's disease, now having itching sensation around chest and coughing for 2 months.
2 months is a long time to have coughing, needs proper clinical evaluation, examination and investigations in the form of following:
X-ray chest to start with.
Tests of blood including ESR, CBC for infection, Cortisol and ACTH to see for the progress of Addison's disease and to get the doses adjusted.
Proper management of Addison's can help alleviate many of symptoms.
Consult a Dermatologist to see if the skin itching is due to Addison's disease or due to local skin problem and get treated accordingly.
Proper management of the well diagnosed causes of cough will help to relieve this problems too.
