What Causes Itching Sensation In Body While On Taxim-o And Bifilac?

Hi, I m suffering from fever since last 6,7days and doctor adviced to take taxim-o and Bifilac so I m taking it since last two days and suddenly last night i felt itching in my whole body especially in my legs and arms.iis it some kind of reaction or allergy. Please help.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems like Delayed Allergic reaction to most probably antibiotic Taxim-O that you are taking and many a times any medication if taken for the first time and has an allergic tendency of your body against it initially there is no allergic symptoms as antibodies are not formed against it and as the intake is continued antibodies are formed and allergic symptoms like Itching becomes prominent..
You should stop the intake of antibiotic and consult your treating physician and get evaluated and he can advise you a different antibiotic as well as advise you anti allergics like Levocetrizine or fexofenadine [allegra].
