What Causes Itching Sensation In Body While Suffering From Lyme Disease?
My son in law is very ill after reciving a Tdap in May of 2015, he has had many lab tests which basically come back WNL and MRI s and CAT scans... tested positive to Lyme disease according to some Doctors and others are no in agreement. He has insomnia really bad and can only get some sleep with multiple medications. My question is now he is so itchy that he can hardly stand it. No rash or hives or anything really visible. Is this a common symptom for Lyme? and if so what can he take to calm his inner itching and crawling feeling. This has been going on now for over a week and he is about beside himself with wanting relief!

It can be due to some fungal infection for which you can take antibiotics like cefadroxyl or zifi-cv after an expert opinion along with cetrizine or Avil itching or rashes. Apply clonet lotion or clo-trimazole cream locally over the affected area. You can take steroids if not improved with above treatment.
