What Causes Itching Sensation In Nose And Cough After Inhaling Bleach Fumes?

hi doctor, i have inhaled fumes of bleaching powder while cleaning my toilet. immediately i got a running nose and severe irritating cough. i breathed in a a fresh air and i had a steam with eucalyptus oil. i also had a cough syrup [corex]. now there is no running nose and the cough as also been reduced. do i need to continue with this remedies please suggest.

Thanks for the query..

As per your complain due to inhalation of chemical containing fumes of Bleaching powder there seems to be irritation of nasal mucosa, Sinuses I throat leading to the following symptoms
You need not to worry as the remedies you followed are appropriate and as the symptoms subsided they will not relapse but still to be precautionary you can take the remedies for another day or two and then discontinue..
